Hey! My name is Danielle Rose Fisher, and I am a NYC based illustrator & experience designer. I create things that are beautiful, useful, and above all, meaningful.

I am currently a Design Systems Designer at FactSet, entering the fin tech world. Now a UX lead focusing on scaleability of their maturing design system & focusing on UX across FactSet’s suite of products.

Previously, I focused on making the product<>brand & brand<>product — learning so much about design systems and pushing change across the enterprise at Infor Design. Before that I was pushing the boundaries at ASCAP through uplifting their member focused products as a product designer on their user experience team.

Working as a full time designer for the last 15+ years, I have had the opportunity to spearhead design & art direct the launch of several mobile applications, multiple responsive enterprise websites, helped push brands into their next frontier and lend a helpful hand in mentoring many team members. My philosophy is to create engaging and accessible user experiences that are also functional, clean and simple. I know how to balance business goals and engineering constraints as I unrelentingly advocate for the user.

Personally, I produce The Nothing Podcast with Nobody Important part of the Cool Side Productions umbrella with my husband and co-host. And concurrently, I am on an incredible team of women, through our platform Women@Work. A resource platform and network for guidance and mentorship for working women. Along with two out of a three book series that I was fortunate enough to illustrate and design. I am also honored to be on the board of directors for The Rockaway Theatre Company.

In my 15+ years of experience as an illustrator, I have worked with a range of clients such as New York Public Library, Stacy Garcia Inc., Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, and Portland's Bride & Groom. My illustrations have been published in multiple books including Men@Work & Fashion@Work. And I have participated in too many art shows to count!

I just recently was accepted and happy to be a part of a curated group of professional freelancers at Illustrators for Hire. I'm always actively seeking freelance opportunities for both illustration and design. If my style and background seems like something that may work well with your company, please feel free to drop me a line any time!
