Danielle Rose Fisher painting watercolor illustrations live at an outdoor art show — NYC brand activation illustrator

Danielle Rose Fisher Doesn't Color Inside the Lines.

Danielle Rose Fisher is a New York City illustrator and creative partner for brands that want artwork with a point of view. Her work is fashion-forward, colorful, and commercially fluent — used in brand campaigns, editorial, licensing, partnerships, and live experiences.

Her work blends fine art watercolor technique with fashion storytelling and real-world experience. From live illustration at runway shows and brand activations to licensed artwork for products and interiors, she approaches every project as both a design solution and a memorable experience.

Danielle has collaborated with JetBlue, the New York Public Library, Stacy Garcia Inc., and Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, among others. For JetBlue's BlueFirst first class she created the original watercolor coaster series, produced in partnership with Linstol. Her illustrations have appeared in published books including Men@Work and Fashion@Work, and she has exhibited work in galleries across New York for over 20 years. That range now extends to the stage: as a watercolor scenic artist and entertainment illustrator, Danielle created the original theatrical scenic artwork and key art for GFour Productions' world premiere of You've Still Got a Friend, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Seth Greenleaf.

Her work and collaborations have been featured in the press, including JetBlue Newsroom, The Points Guy, Skift, BroadwayWorld, and The Knockturnal.

Danielle started at FIT studying fashion design — patternmaking, construction, the discipline of building a garment from the inside out. Somewhere in there, the sketches became the point, and she switched her focus to fashion and illustration. That training still shows up in the work: in how a garment falls, how a line describes movement, in knowing what she's drawing, not just how to draw it.

Danielle's background also includes product design and design systems — work that shapes how she collaborates with brands. She understands visual systems, creative constraints, and how artwork has to function in the real world, not just on the page. View her design portfolio here.

She's a mother and a lover of big cities — architecture, wine, food, fashion, and travel. New York City's people, buildings, energy, and culture are a constant influence. Her illustrations are about capturing fleeting beauty — the moment, the feeling, the life in a single brushstroke.

Beyond illustration, Danielle co-produces The Nothing Podcast with Nobody Important with Cool Side Productions, contributes to Women@Work — a platform empowering working women through mentorship — and serves on the board of directors for The Rockaway Theatre Company.
